Research Notes

College football is a bit of a nightmare when it comes to TV agreement deals. Although most conferences have deals with ESPN, this isn’t the case for all of them. Each conference is free to sign deals with whoever it wants. And because ESPN tends to have the most money to buy those deals, well, ESPN it is. During research for a previous article, we found a lot of dead ESPN links in most live tv Kodi App we checked. And we checked a lot of them. Thankfully, we found some working links this time around, although we can’t be sure how long those will stay active.

We researched which networks have broadcasting rights for each conference. This helped us focus our attention on Kodi App that provide streams to those networks. For a specific list of conferences and their networks, check the end of the article. Because ESPN has the most broadcasting deals, we included every Kodi addon we found with working ESPN links. We additionally included ones with working ABC, FOX or PAC 12 streams.

Addons are not listed in any order of preference, but in the order of confirmation. If you find any additional working links or App we didn’t list here, please let us know. We’ll test them out and update our list accordingly.

Phoenix Kodi Addon

Phoenix has a lot going on. It lists some ESPN and Fox Sports channels, none of which work. However, the following do work on this addon:

Working channels: Pac 12 (7 channels)

sports devil college football on kodi

SportsDevil had the most streams of any App we checked. You’ll likely want to make this one your go-to option for most things except PAC 12 games. The following streams work on this addon:

Working channels: ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, ABC

Castaway kodi addon

Castaway was an interesting one. We left it on the list for one sole reason: Replays. You’ll be hard-pressed to find some working live streams for college football here, but you’ll find a good selection of replays for games. Outside of this, there are working streams for ABC and FOX, both of which will have a handful of games throughout the season.

cCloud TV

cCloud TV kodi addon

cCloud TV had a limited number, but they’re up and working at the time of this writing. You’ll find the following streams working on this addon:

Working channels: ESPN, 7 PAC 12 channels

VidTime Kodi Addon

VidTime is a bit of a smaller one. Limited options here, but they work.

Working channels:  Pac 12 networks (7 channels)
